Vitaly Leontiyevich Mutko is a Russian politician. He was born on December 8, 1958, in Kurinskaya, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. From 2016 to 2020, he served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, a position to which he was promoted on October 19, 2016. From 2008 to 2016, he served as the Minister of Sport of Russia. In 1999, Mutko graduated from the Law Department of Saint Petersburg State University. He married Tatyana Ivanova, and they have two children. He appeared as himself in Segodnya vecherom (2012), M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Monson (2011), and Pozner (2008).
