He was an American actor, born on July 8, 1886, in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, as John Kernan Cripps. He appeared in more than 200 productions and played various roles such as a policeman, a detective, and a cowboy. He is known for Federal Operator 99 (1945), Those Who Dance (1930), and Daughter of Don Q (1946). He passed away at the age of 66 on October 16, 2010 in Santa Monica, California, USA.
