An English actor, director and writer, born as Derren Horwitz in London, England, UK. He married actress Anne Aubrey in 1961, and they divorced in 1973 after they had one child. His first appearance was in the series The Adventures of Sir Lancelot in 1956. He's known for The Blue Max (1966) and Where Eagles Dare (1968). He directed only one film which was The Amorous Milkman (1975), which he also wrote.
