After her retirement in 1971, she took part in religious and philanthropic activities until she died. She is known for her roles in Monsieur Verdoux (1947), The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1958-1963), and I Love Lucy (1955). She was married to Manuel Fouce. She passed away at the age of 65 on May 21, 1974, in Glendale, Los Angeles County, California, USA.
