He was an actor and a cinematographer, born on December 23, 1906, in Bayonne, New Jersey, USA. He was also a special and visual effects artist and a camera technician. He is known for The Fighting O'Flynn (1949), Brute Force (1947), and City Beneath the Sea (1953). He received a Technical Achievement Award at the Academy Awards in 1955. He passed away at the age of 69 on October 16, 1976, in San Bernardino, California, USA.
