American actor, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, on July 23, 1882. He was married to the actress Lucile Sewall, who remained with him until his death. Allen provided supporting and additional roles for 3 decades, as the detective, the policeman, the citizen, and others. He also managed to catch up with the silent film era and participated in two silent movies. He is known for Marked Trails (1944) and Between Dangers (1927). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on January 20, 1954, of a heart attack.
