He joined the University of California, and began his theatrical activity at the beginning of the 20th century. He started his activity in the silent films in 1914, and continued to...Read more work after the entry of sound into films. In 1918, he worked at the Sioux Theater in Iowa, and in 1922 he worked at the Savoy Theater in London, and in 1927 his troupe performed in Pennsylvania, then he stood on stage of the Broadway theatre. He played various roles in cinema such as a thief, a gambler and a chief of police. He married Louise Chapman Wallace. His notable works include The Mouthpiece (1932), Wild Girl (1932) and Dream Street (1921). He died in Tarzana, California, USA on December 12, 1953.
