American actor, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, on July 1, 1891. He was married to Juanita Harrison. He began his career by acting in silent short films in 1911 as a supporting actor, and when sound entered films in the late twenties most of his roles were in Western films as a writer, guard, soldier, reporter, and others. Among his works are The Gene Autry Show (1950), Charley's Aunt (1925), and Biff Bang Bomb (1920). He died in San Bernardino, California, USA, on June 24, 1986.
