A British actress, born in Claines, Worcestershire, England, UK, on December 16, 1887. Among her notable works are Rupert of Hentzau (1957), Prison Without Bars (1947), BBC Sunday-Night Theatre (1950), and ITV Television Playhouse (1955). She was a theater actress who worked at a later stage in cinema and television. She died in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England, on May 25, 1974, at the age of 86.
