American actor, born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, USA, on October 30, 1924, as Jacques Georges Aubuchon. He was married to Denise Caubisens until his death (1951-1991) and they had three children. He acted in theater, cinema, and television from the fifties until the eighties, and he made hundreds of television commercials in addition to writing plays. He also served in the army during World War II and began his professional activity by appearing in Broadway plays. He is known for The Silver Chalice (1954), Thunder Road (1958), and Shirley Temple's Storybook (1958). He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on December 28, 1991, of heart failure, at the age of 67.
