She was an American actress and singer, born on October 12, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, as Jean Louise King. She was a member of the Blossoms, a soul group, from the mid-1960s until her death in 1983. She participated in The T.A.M.I. Show (1964), Shindig! (1965), and Elvis: The Comeback Special (1968). She died of a heart attack on March 28, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
