An American actor, born in Pike County, Ohio, USA, as Gordon Langston Driggs. Among his most important works are Boy Slaves (1939), Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958), The Shanghai Cobra (1945), and Hand of Death (1962). Roy Gordon was a theater, film, and television actor. He was always interested in theater and acting and decided to make it his profession. In the twenties and early thirties, he participated in dramas and musicals in many theaters and on Broadway, and in the late thirties, he moved to Hollywood to become a film actor. He appeared in supporting roles in many films, often playing the roles of men of power, and he also participated in many television series. He died in Encino, Los Angeles, California, USA, on July 23, 1972.
