An American actress, born in Youngstown, Ohio, USA. She grew up in Indiana and studied at DePauw University in the same state. She showed a growing interest in acting before deciding to go to Hollywood while studying acting at an acting school operated by Max Reinhardt. She was then auditioned by Warner Bros. in 1941. Her credits include That Lady (1955) and The Falcon's Brother (1942). She died on May 4, 2009, in Switzerland.
