An Irish actress and model, born in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. She played uncredited roles in English cinema and television, and she usually played aristocratic characters due to her strong identification with that class. Among her work is The Ugly Duckling (1959). She married actor Lewis Alexander (1936-2010), who remained with her until his death. She died on February 12, 2014, in Felpham, West Sussex, England, UK, at age 99.
