She is a Canadian actress and writer, born in Québec, Canada. Her acting debut was in Happiness Is Loving Your Teacher (1977). She is known for Spanish Fly (1998), French Exit (1995), and Crack Me Up (1991). She is married to Harvey Keitel, and their son is the actor Roman Keitel.
