A Canadian professional wrestler, born in Montreal, Canada. He started his wrestling career in the mid-1980s and worked for several pro-wrestling promotions, such as WWF/WWE. During his career, he won many championships, including the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. His notable credits include WrestleMania X-Seven (2001) and WWE Raw (2000–2007). In June 2007, Benoit committed a double murder and suicide, killing his wife and seven-year-old son then himself.
