An American actor, born in Villisca, Iowa, USA as Judd Clifton Holdren. He showed an early interest in acting, left high school and traveled to Nebraska, where he studied acting at the Omaha Playhouse. He served in the Coast Guard of the US Army during World War II, then moved to Hollywood and played supporting roles, such as a diplomat, paramedic, and soldier. At the beginning of the sixties, he retired from acting and began earning his living in the insurance field. He's known for Lady in the Iron Mask (1952), Captain Video: Master of the Stratosphere (1951) and Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe (1953). He died of suicide by gunfire in Los Angeles, California, USA on March 11, 1974, at age 58.
