A British-American actress and director, born in New York, USA. She grew up in England, where she studied at the University of Bristol, and then joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Some of her credits include Orlando (1992), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) and The Tragedy of Macbeth (2021).
