A British actor, born in Streatham, Lambeth, London, England, United Kingdom, to theatrical parents. Jack Haig married actress Sybil E Dunn (1939-1988), they had a daughter, and she remained with him until her death. Among his most important works are The Gnomes of Dulwich (1969), Crossroads (1965-1982), 'Allo 'Allo! (1982-1989), and Hugh and I (1962). He specialized in supporting roles, especially in television comedies, and is best known for his role in the British series 'Allo 'Allo!, where he presented 51 episodes. He excelled in pantomime and presented children's television programs. Jack Haig died in Hampstead, Camden, London, England, United Kingdom on July 4, 1989, from stomach cancer at the age of 76.
