Renowned Director Salah El Sekka, Father of Actor Ahmed El Sekka, Passes Away

Earlier this morning theater director Salah El Sekka, father of actor Ahmed El Sekka, passed away. The burial will take place following noon prayers on Saturday at Mostafa Mahmoud mosque in Mohandeseen. The funeral will be held on Sunday at U’mar Makram mosque following the sunset prayers. Worthy of mention is that director Salah Al Deen El Sekka worked as the head of the Puppet’s Theater for quite a long while. He also directed several plays, amongst which are “Al Leila Al Kebeira” (“The Big Night”), “Himmar Shihab Al Deen” (“Shihab Al Deen’s Donkey”), “Sahsah lama Tingah” (“Learn from your Successes”).
