Rumors developed due to a scene in Mohamed Diab's new movie "678" in which a boy harasses a girl while singing Tamer Hosni's song "The Thing I love most about you." Hosni considered this a personal attack on his character, implying he was a sexual predator. Diab explains that on the contrary, he respects Tamer Hosni very much, and recognizes his huge influence on his fans and Egyptian youth as a whole. The fact that this song resonates so much with youth due to its sexual nuances is why Diab chose to include it in the scene in the first place. The movie "678" discusses the issue of sexual harassment, which has been a rampant problem in Egypt over the last few years. Ironically, despite its efforts to address this social issue, Nelly Karim's stunt double in the film was subject to sexual harassment while filming on location, and had her clothes ripped off. "678" stars Nelly Karim, Ahmed ElFishawy, Maged ElKidwany, Boshra, Bassem Samra, and Sousan Badr. It is scheduled for release January 22.
