“Ibn Al Qonsol” (“Consul’s Son”) Surpasses “Bulbul Hayrran” and “Al Za’eem” at the Box Office, Sharing the Top with “Zahaymar”

The movie “Zahaymar” (“Alzheimer’s”) has maintained the first spot at the box office after generating returns of 2, 240, 000 this week alone. Thus far the film has generated 18,696,000 pounds in cumulative revenue over 5 weeks of screening.“Ibn Al Qonsol” has achieved the second place in terms of weekly ticket sales for the first time since the film opened. Thus, the film has succeeded in generating 929,000 pounds of returns this week bringing the cumulative returns earned by the title throughout 5 weeks of screening to 10,745,000 pounds.“Bulbul Hayrran” retreated to third place for the first time since its premier in a development that was considered a significant indicator of the movie’s reception. The film has thus far earned 835,000 pounds this week bringing cumulative returns earned by the title throughout 5 weeks of screening to 15,076,000 pounds.“Muhtarram ila Rub’a” has consistently placed fourth since the title’s premier. The picture has earned 620,000 pounds this week, bringing cumulative returns earned by that title to 8,670,000 pounds. The title has been in theaters for 34 days.In its first week at theaters “The Chronicles of Narnia” has secured fifth place at the box office with 203,000 pounds earned in ticket sales.“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” came in sixth and achieved 180,000 pounds this week thus brining cumulative returns earned throughout 4 weeks of screening to 580,000 pounds.Seventh place went to “Due Date” which earned 135,000 pounds in ticket sales bringing cumulative returns earned through 2 weeks of screening to 347,000 pounds.“Unstoppable” occupied eighth place having earned 112,000 pounds this week and 530,000 pounds cumulatively throughout 3 weeks at the theaters.“Paranormal Activity 2” has occupied ninth place in its first week of screening whereby it earned 93,000 pounds in ticket sales.Tenth place goes to the American title “Faster” which has earned 36,000 pounds this weeks and 112,000 pounds cumulatively following 2 weeks at the box office.
