American film star Gwyneth Paltrow was recently honored by being awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame . E-Online has carried a story mentioning that Gwyneth Paltrow, 38 is the 2427th star to earn a mention on the Walk of Fame further adding that she has received the honor in recognition of her successful acting career which witnessed her being awarded an Oscar.Gwyneth Paltrow, who is the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and the late director Bruce Paltrow, has said: “This town is an integral part of my heart and soul and the thought that my progeny could make the trip here one day to see my star on the Walk of Fame fills me with happiness.”Paltrow’s star is situated in front of the famous Madame Tussaud’s on Hollywood Boulevard. This latest news coincides with Paltrow’s promotional tour for her latest film “Country Strong” where she acts alongside Tim McGraw who described Paltrow in kind words saying: “She brings out goodwill in others and is the best possible friend someone could have.”Furthermore it should be noted that this news also coincides with reports that Paltrow will return to the set of television series “Glee” on New Year’s where she will assume the role of a substitute teacher named “Holly Holiday”. Paltrow had made an appearance on that show last November in a move that was warmly received.
