Actress Ghada A’bd Al Razeq has rejected the characterization of her latest title “Bonne Soiree” as a “porno” indicating that the film does not contain any sexual or explicit scene. She has further added that any racy scenes included as part of the trailer are simply intended to attract viewers. To this end Ghada has stated that producer Mohamed Al Sabbky was careful to “collect all of the controversial segments and include them in the trailer. This cannot be considered a fault because in the end he will try everything he can in order to attract moviegoers to go see his work.”Ghada made these comments following a wave of attacks by critics that were focused on the film which is yet to premier. Critics have described the title as a “porno” adding that Ghada performs several explicit scenes as part of the film. Ghada has denied these claims and has furthermore expressed her surprise and annoyance at the practice of giving out judgments on a film before it has even premiered. In an unrelated note Ghada has concluded filming her final scenes in “Kaff al Qamar” (“Palm of the Moon”) a few days ago. Director Khaled Youssif is finalizing work on the film and is currently overseeing the montage and editing process. The film is expected to premier sometime during the midyear academic break.
