Trouble in the Backstages of the Title “El Fajoumi”

The backstage set of the title “Al Fajoumi” has witnessed an uproar recently whereby a group of acting extras have demanded the salaries that they had previously agreed to. However their salaries were not ready due to the budget not being able to accommodate prevailing salary rates. Efforts were then made to placate the crowd but things soon went out of hand when the mob proceeded to break and damage equipment within the studio. The standoff continued until four in the morning and the crowd did not disband until they received their wages the next day.“Al Fajoumy” was written and directed by E’issam Al Shamma’. The film features the talents of Khaled El Sawwy, Kinda A’loush, Salah A’bd Allah, Farrah Youssif and Gehan Fadel.
