A’beer Sabry Agrees to Shoot A Racy Scene which She had previously Objected to

Director Mahmoud Kamel has rebuffed claims that performer A’beer Sabry had refused to shoot a rather racy scene which forms part of his most recent cinematic work “Haflat Montassaf al-Leil” (“Midnight Party”). The director had suggested to A’beer that she make use of a double to film the scene. Although A’beer had been anxious with regards to the scene due to her fear that it could lead critics to attack her, she nonetheless chose to shoot the scene because she understood that it was crucial to the film – as per the words of the director.“Haflat Montassaf al-Leil” (“Midnight Party”) stars Tunisian performer Durra in addition to Rania Youssif, Hanan Muttaawi’, Mona Hala, Ramy Wahid, Ahmed Wafiq and U’mar Hassan Youssif. The screenplay was authored by Mohamed A’bd Al Khaliq.The title relates events that take place during a single three hour period. A party held by a group of friends becomes a murder scene when one of the guests is killed. Everyone is a suspect. A’beer portrays a character named Ou’lla who is a rather pretty lady who marries an older man for his money.
