Ahmed Falawkas Shares the Lead of “Ibn Mawt” (“Son of Death”) with Khaled al-Nabawwy

Despite an earlier announcement in which Ahmed Falawkas had indicated that he would devote the coming period to cinema efforts, the performer has recently signed a contract to take part in the television production “Ibn Mawt” which will star Khaled al-Nabawwy. The series is slated for release in the coming month of Ramadan.A media official speaking on behalf of Falawkas has released a statement clarifying that the artist has indeed signed a contract with the Media Production City for the series “Ibn Mawt”. The source further indicated that Falawkas had expressed his admiration with the script which was authored by Magdy Saber and had also expressed that he was looking forward to work with esteemed director Samir Sayf and fellow actor Khaled al-Nabawwy in what will be the pair’s first collaboration. “Ibn Mawt” discusses the phenomenon of illegal immigration and its increasing frequency among youths. In addition to the aforementioned performers the work will also features the talents of Khayriyah Ahmed, Dalia Ibrahim and A’beer Sabry. The production is one of the Media Production City’s titles for Ramadan of 2011. A budget of 18 million pounds has been allocated for the work.
