Ayman Zeidan to direct “Milh al-Hayya” (“Life’s Salt”)

Syrian artist Ayman Zeidan has commenced filming the television series “Milh al-Hayya” which he will be directing. The screenplay for the series is credited to Hassan Youssif and the work assumes as its setting the city of Damascus between the 1940s and the close of the 1950s. Thus the work plays out within a thrilling social context. “Milh al-Hayya” features a host of outstanding Syrian drama actors including Salloum Haddad, Maxim Khalil, Sawsan Arshid, Qais al-Sheikh Naguib, Gaber Goukhadar and Mu’ttasim Nahar among others. The series is produced by the Institution for Radio and Television Production.It is recalled that Ayman Zidan had recently completed shooting his role in the second part of the television series “Yawmiyat Mudeer ‘Aam” (“The Diary of a Manager”) with director Zuhair Qanoo’.
