Actor Olfat ‘Omar has started shooting one of her most important roles in her life; “Aateka”, the spouse of al-Farouk ‘Omar, the second Caliph of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The series directed by Syrian Haatem ‘Aly is considered one of the largest TV productions in the past few years.Olfat will travel to Morocco accompanied by Abdul Azeez Makhyoun, the only Egyptian actors participating in the series, to shoot a number of scenes. Her voyage to Morocco pushed her to leave the series “Kalemaat i.e. Words”, despite her enthusiasm to the idea of the series directed by Waael Fahmy Abdul Hameed. Olfat was supposed to play an evil doctor who carries out researches on humans among a cast of young actors.Olfat has agreed to play “Kalemaat” two years ago, yet the production was halted for production reasons. When producers fixed the problems, Olfat had already signed a contract to play another series;“Ehna al-talaba i.e. We are the students”, in which she plays Sihaam, a rebel student raging against all the wrong situations in Egypt who works as a journalist in one of the opposition newspapers.
