Safaa Sultaan sells herself under the name of marriage in “Midnight’s talk”

Syrian actor Safaa Sultaan has recently finished shooting her role in the TV film “Hadeeth montassaf al-layl i.e. Midnight’s talk”, written by Taarek ‘Omraan, produced by Syrian Satellite Channel and directed by Oussaama Shokeir. The 90-minute film is starring Wael Ramadaan, Sahar Fawzy, Saaleh al-Deek and ‘Aassem Hawwaat, it was filmed in different locations; including ‘Ein al-Sha’ra, al-Mowaassaah Hospital, ‘Adra Prison, Sahnaaya Gardens…etc. The filmmakers used artificial rain as the storyline goes through summer and winter phases. Safaa Sultaan plays Salma, a college girl living in a middle class family who sacrifices herself and her future for the sake of her family, especially her brother. To help her family, she accepted to marry a man that she does not love, as if she is selling herself under the name of marriage. Finally, she finds herself involved in a crime.
