Youssri Nasr Allah faces challenges after he is forced to eliminate an entire section related to the events that took place during the Mespiro incident. His movie, “Reem, Mahmoud and Fatma” is considered a documentation of the life of an Egyptian citizen during and after the 25th of January revolution.Youssri had ventured into this movie without a script, with only a 40 page story in a unique attempt to combine between narrative and documentary, through 5 main characters representing the Egyptian community in all its social classes, and how they dealt with all the political change and their reaction towards this uproot. The story starts from the very beginning of the revolution which Youssri has documented until the most recent events of Mespiro.Youssri explains to “Al Shorook” newspaper that unfortunately he was not able to document any events that took place on the Sunday related to the Mespiro events because the situation escalated quickly preventing him from catching it as it happened. In addition to that, Youssri had filming scenes to complete in the Zamalek and Haram areas. Youssri is disappointed because he was not able to record any documentation of these events and up till now he has no idea how he will deal with this drop in the timeline of the movie. “Reem, Mahmoud and Fatma” is written Youssri Nasr Allah and Omar Shama and directed by Youssri Nasr Allah. The movie is starring Mennah Shalaby,Basem Samra, Nahed el Sebai, Farah and Salwa Mohamed Ali.
