Several countries demand the movie “678” be released commercially after winning the Silver Award in The Chicago Festival.

In the 46th event of the Chicago International Cinema Festival, the Egyptian movie “678” for director Mohamed Diab received a silver award after it played during the festival. The actor Maged El Kadawani also received the award for best actor. Many countries demanded the movie to be released commercially, so that they also can display it in their theaters, after the movie received so much recognition worldwide. From those countries were Spain, Portugal, Brazil, France, Denmark and the state of Chicago in the USA.During the Dubai International Cinema Festival the movie had achieved best actor and best actress for both Maged El Kadawani and actress Boshra. The film had also achieved the grand prize at the “Kharabeeka Cinema Festival for African Cinema”The movie addresses sexual harassment, through the stories of 3 women and the impact of this phenomenon on their social life and psychological state of mind. Then they decided to face their fears each one in her own way.“678” is written and directed by Mohamed Diab, in his first attempts ever behind the camera. The movie stars Maged El Kadawani, Boshra, Nelly karim, Ahmed El Fishawy, Basem Samra and Nahed El Sebai.
