After the crisis caused by actor Nour El Sherif declining for his role in the series “Half Time”, even with the fact that he had already shot many scenes in the series. King Tut, the producing company decided to employ another actor to replace him, and eliminate all the old scenes that were previously filmed by Nour El Sherif, since it will most definitely be on its upcoming production plan.Producer Essam Shabaan had met with Nour several times to discuss with him his decision to decline his role in the series and dissuade him, preventing a massive financial loss, but in vain. Nour insisted that he will not continue the series. Hence, the company’s decision to employ another actor for the role. The rumor says that the real reason for El Sherif’s declining to continue the series was because the series was delayed for 9 months which made it difficult for Nour to keep himself available all that time and focusing his commitment towards an uncertain production. When he was approached by producer Sadek Al Sabah for another series called “Arafa El Bahr” he agreed and they immediately started. It is then that producers for the series “Half Time” decided to continue shooting the series. It was too late then as Nour El Sherif was already committed to another production. However, “Half Time” which is written by Abdel Reheem Kamal and directed by Omar Abdel Aziz still retains its original stars such as Maali Zayed, Lotfy Labib, Sahar Ramy and Hussein El Imam provided they come up with a replacement for Nour El Sherif.
