Ahmed El Sakka denies being shot while filming “The Interest”

Actor Ahmed El Sakka denied all rumors that stated he was shot by the Bedouins during his work on his movie “The Interest”, adding that such rumors frivolous and silly.In a statement Ahmed made to “Al Masry Al yoom” newspaper, he expressed his dismay and disappointment towards those who spread such rumors, adding that his family and relatives were horrified when they heard what had allegedly happened. He explained that the police force and army have provided adequate security, making it impossible for such rumor to be true.They have already been filming in Taba for 13 days and they have one more week remaining. They were welcomed by the Bedouins with such hospitality to the point that the Bedouins asked them to use their land with no charge. They also provided shelter and food and a place to rest for the whole cast and crew.The movie portrays the drug cartels in Egypt, and the struggle between a drug dealer and a police officer and how each one tries to overthrow the other.“The Interest” is written by Wael Abdulla and directed by Sandra Nashaat. It is starring Ahmed El Sakka, Ahmed Ezz, Hanan Tork, Zeina, Salah Abdulla, Ahmed El Sadaany and nehal Anbar.
