After Oscar winning award Collin Ferth declined his role in the movie “Old Boy” directed by Spike lee. Actor Clive Owen was nominated by director Lee for that same role, making that the second time for both to work together. The film follows the story of one Oh Dae-su, who is locked in a hotel room for 15 years without knowing his captor's motives. When he is finally released, Dae-su finds himself still trapped in a web of conspiracy and violence and starts his own quest for vengeance.Director Spike Lee had originally chosen actor Josh Brolin to play the role of Oh Dae-su, before nominating Ferth for the other starring role of the evil villain in the movie, who killed his wife and daughter. However, now Clive Owen is playing that role. The movie is taken from a famous Asian film, and it is scheduled to start filming in March, after completing its cast and planning its filming locations.
