Wage Crises threatens to stop the series "Ibn Lail"

According to Al Masaa newspaper, Soot El Kahera for productions is going through a financial crisis which in turn is reflecting on the cast and crew of the series "Ibn Lail" in terms of wages. Already some of the actors involved have withdrawn from the series such as Basma who asked for 2 million Egyptian pounds and withdrew when her demands weren't met. Actor Ahmed Bedair also asked for an amount that is currently being reduced. Director Ismail Abdel Hafez has agreed to take 2 million Egyptian pounds although his wage is normally much higher than that.As for lead actor Magdi Kamel his wage is also being reduced. Currently there are negotiations concerning the wages of other actors such as Nermeen El Feky, Amir Karara, Nehal Anbar, Ahmed Rateb, Fatooh Ahmed. The series is scheduled to start filming next week.
