Now that's news: The launch of the 1st Saudi Film Festival.

It was 2006 that witnessed the making of the first Saudi film. "Keef El Hal" starred Mais hamdan, Hesham Abd El Rahman and Khaled Sami was just enough proof that Saudi Arabia has aspiring actors and filmmakers within it.Now, Rotana for Audio and Video is preparing to organize and sponsor the greatest event that will take place for the first time in Saudi which is the "1st Saudi Film Festival". The festival's committee has opened doors for participation for all filmmakers in Saudi to submit their works of all categories whether Long or Short Feature Films.The festival will launch during this month of April.
