After accusing Amal Hegazy of being disrespectful to the Moroccan Islamic holy places by dancing in the courtyard of "El Hassan El thany" mosque in Morocco in her new music video "Byamlny" shown on Rotana network days ago, a statement was released on her behalf. This statement mentioned that Director Mirna El-Khayat ordered to stop airing the video on cable networks until it is edited and thanked Rotana for their fast response to honor this demand. It also stated that Mirna chose to drop some live scenes they took for Amal in Morocco, the touristic country of the great Islamic history, people, country and rulers that they so much respect and admire. It was also mentioned that Mirna chose those scenes in the first place due to the great reception Amal got by the Moroccan people and their request that she films one of her songs there. It also added that Amal Hegazy is Muslim, and there's no way she would dare to dance in a mosque because she'd die before thinking about disrespecting any holy places, confirming that all scenes were only for Amal striding in touristic attractions wearing black. Therefore, they apologized for the unintentional misunderstanding and for what people thought to be disrespect to Islamic places and to the lovely country of Morocco.
