It was the most important project of Robert De Niro's life which awarded him the Oscar for Best Actor in 1980. It was also considered by the American Film Institute as the fourth greatest film ever made in Hollywood. It is Martin Scorsese's master piece "Raging Bull". "Raging Bull" was a biographical drama about Jake LaMotta, a middleweight boxer, who was the best in history until he destroyed his life with his own hand and lost everything at the end. Director Martin Guigui has announced his will for a sequel of this film, where De Niro said in the discussion panel at the Tribeca Film Festival that he wouldn't mind returning to it if the script was good.On the other hand, Scorsese said to "GQ" magazine that he doesn’t see a sequel for the film as the story was said and finished in the original, beginning with LaMotta's success, going through the self-disruption phase in his life and ending by his death.
