Khaled El Sawi is half way through "Ala Kaf Afreet".

Everything is going according to schedule with the cast and crew of director Kamal Mansour's new series "Ala Kaf Aftreet – On a Genie's Palm". Mansour has finished shooting almost 50% of the scenes and is aiming to complete at least 75% by the end of May for the series to be released in Ramadan this year. Lead actor Khaled El Sawi is still shooting his scenes as he is currently in a villa's setting in Al Mansoureya with actors Naglaa Badr, Lana Saeed and Ashraf Hamdi. The coming few days will have more scenes to be shot in a five star hotel in Cairo. Lead actress Kenda Alloush has carried on shooting her scenes as soon as she returned from Syria. By Mid June, the cast of "Ala Kaf Aftreet" will travel to Marsa Alam to continue shooting there. The core subject of the series is about " Fadel Abu El Rous" who is obsessed with the world of the wealthy and powerful businessmen wants to live inside their social circles and not on the side as he manages to attract them with his unique personality. The story shows the anxiety they go through after the 25 Jan revolution and their fear about their future and their past if it gets revealed. They also go through the same psychological state of mind after the beginning of trials of the former regime members. The events take a very mysterious turn as it gets closer to the character of “Fadel” and many surprises are revealed about his past and future. “Al Kaf Afreet “is written by Yehia Fekri, production is supervised by Dina Karim, technical producer is Mohamed Bondoq and producers are "Kan".
