Alexander Ben, one of the members of the jury in Cannes Film Festival, said he thinks films are means for us to see ourselves clearly just like mirrors, quoting the great director Francis Ford Coppola when he said that films give us the chance to see what's wrong and find solutions. In the final day of Cannes, he looked back at the experience and said it was one of the best in his life, as he got the chance to watch different films from different cultures and discuss them with others which made him see a clearer picture of himself in the mirror. He said his all time favorite film is "Seven Samurai", and that he decided to study cinema thanks to that film. The two academy award winner for best screenplay, recently for "The descendants", is currently preparing for a new film in October. The film will be a black and white trip of a father and his son.
