The Presidential elections is behind the Egyptian Opera House postponing Asala's concert to next month.

The Egyptian Opera House announced that they will postpone Syrian singer Asala's concert from 22 June to 17 July due to the worrying situation in Egypt. The organizers fear the lack of security in downtown Cairo after the announcement of the presidential elections results.Asala's concert is part of a campaign to support the Syrian revolution where its income would go to the victims in Syria. Asala has participated in "Watan Yatafatah Horeya" festival with Ali Al Haggar, Nasir Shamma and Majd Al Qassem where the income also went to the victims in Syria.
