With Video: Adel Emam's trial postponed to 12 September.

Today was the sentence in the appeal made by Adel Emam's attorney in the case filed against him that he denigrates Islam in his films. Alharam Courts today has postponed the ruling to 12 September after listening to the plead made by civil rights attorney who requested to refuse the appeal and assured that Emam abused Islam and Sunnah like wearing the neqab, abaya and having a beared. The court also listened to the defense attorney. The case was filed by Salafist lawyer Mansour Assran who said that Emam mocks Islam and it's rituals in films like "Morgan Ahmed Morgan", " Al Erhab Wal Kabab" and "Al Erhaby".A large number of actors attended in solidarity with Emam and announced their refusal to the restriction made on freedom of speech and creativity. Another large number of reporters and journalists was outside the court house since the security refused their entrance to the hall. camera was there and made an interview with Nasef Fayez who expressed his resentment to the ruling. We also spoke to Labib Moawwad, head of Emam's defense committee who talked about the case and all its dimensions and also to actor Sameh El Seraity who refused the restriction put on art and creativity.
