"Prometheus" high gross encourages Ridley Scott for a sequel.

It seems that the great success for the sci-fi directed by Ridley Scott has encouraged him along with Fox Twentieth century to work on a sequel. Since the budget of the film didn't exceed 130 million dollars and its total gross reached 302 million; both director and producers are confident the sequel will be as successful and they are hoping for it to be ready in 2014 or 2015.In this exclusive statement to hollywoodreporter.com; Scott said he knows exactly what he wants in the sequel but he didn't decided yet if writer Damon Lindelof will be teaming with him in this sequel."Prometheus" is about a group of explorers in search of the origins of mankind on Earth who are lead into a dangerous journey trying to save humankind on our planet. It stars Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Wilson, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce.
