Al Pacino negotiates to portray the controversial Joe Paterno!

Great actor Al Pactino is negotiation to play the role of former Penn State University football coach Joe Paterno which is adapted from Joe Posnanski's best seller "Paterno".The upcoming biopic has not chosen its director or cast yet, and is about the football coach who passed away in November 2011 after being failing battle with cancer and three months after the scandal that ended his legendary career. Paterno was fired after 46 years at the school for covering up for the team's defensive coordinator, Jerry Sandusky, who was accused of sexually assaulting young boys at campus. This role should not be new grounds for Pacino as he played before the role of a football coach in Oliver Stone's "Any Given Sunday".
