"Drive" has no sequel but the driver might return.

During his interview with The Evening Standard; director Nicolas Winding Refn assured he is not planning for a sequel of his last year's action film "Drive". However, the main character of the driver played by Ryan Gosling might return in another film but he is not aware how he'll be able to do that.This statement was a result for the issue of a new part of the book written by James Sallis which is the film adapted from. It is also unknown if Refn owns rights over the driver character in the film.Gosling and Refn are back together in "Only God Forgives" which should hit theaters in 2013 and is about Julien, a gangster who uses his boxing club as a cover for his drug dealing. After the murder of his brother; Julien enters a dispute with the police and other gangs seeking revenge.
