Jude Law escorts the Queen to the Moroccan deserts.

Academy award nominee Jude Law is officially in Werner Herzog’s “Queen of the Desert” next to Robert Pattinson and Naomi Watts.So far, no details are revealed about the character Jude will be playing in the film that chronicles the life of and adventures of Gertrude Bell (Watts) who was a traveler, writer, archaeologist, and political ambassador for the British Empire during War World I in Jordan and Iraq. Pattinson is to play Lawrence of Arabia who was an army officer turned into an archaeologist and one of Bell’s closest friends. Jude will have a major shift in location as he is now prepping to shoot his role in Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel” with Bill Murray, Ralph Fiennes and Owen Wilson. “Queen of the Desert” should start filming in March 2013 in the Moroccan deserts
