Turkish "Wadi Al Zi'ab" Star Nagati Shashmaz Prepares for Fatherhood

Turkish star Nagati Shashmaz has announced that his wife, Najihan Kasilar, is in her first month of pregnancy. He expressed his happiness at fulfilling his dream of becoming a father for the first time. He also said he's starting to prepare to welcome the little one to the world, adding that he would not find out whether the baby was a girl or a boy, and wanted to keep it a surprise.

Shashmaz chose a very unique day to get married to his sweetheart Kasilar. They got hitched on December 12, 2012, the day some believed the Mayans predicted to be the end of the world. The actor's ex-girlfriend and star of "Harem El Sultan," Nour Fattah Aughlwa, was also at the wedding. She plays the Sultana on the show, and is known in the Arab world by her character's name, Nahed Dawran.

Nagati Shashmaz has starred in six seasons of "Wadi Al Zi'ab," which has been airing on Arab channels for about two years.
