Sam Mendes walks out on James Bond

It seems that two Oscars among fivenominations and the huge success for the 23rd James Bond film"Skyfall" were not enough for director Sam Mendes to carry on withthe 007 agent and direct the 24th film.

According to The Hollywood News.com, Mendesofficially announced he will not be making the upcoming Bond Film even thoughproduces expressed their wish for him to sit on it and him saying he wouldn'tmind. However, Mendes had prior engagements that forced him to bail out on themost secret agent next adventure.
