Rest in Peace Ikram Al Assi, Poet and Songwriter

Yesterday, on April 1, 2013, poet and songwriter Ikram Al Assi, mother of composer Mohamed Rahim, passed away at the International Medical Center along the Cairo-Ismailia desert highway.

She was moved there after a sharp decline in her health, and stayed there for follow-up treatment. No details concerning the funeral have been announced yet.
